The AFRL Regional Hub Network — Mid-Atlantic is pleased to announce the opening of the summer partnership funding cycle.

Applications may be submitted anytime prior to 5:00 PM EST on July 14, 2023.

New this cycle are specific topics of interest from the AFRL, these topics are precursors to future AFRL SBIR/STTR program topics. 

Please note this Hub call is not limited to the subtopic areas noted below. Those interested in proposing project ideas beyond those subtopics but within the three technology themes should contact us and connect with AFRL to explore the project’s feasibility via the Tech Connect platform (found via the link below).

 Quantifying Performance in Extreme Environments:

  • Development of New Oxidation Resistant Refractory Alloys for Additively Manufactured (AM) Components

  • Advanced Nano-Composite Radiation Shielding Manufacturing

  • Materials for High-Temperature Performance Electronics: Memory and Packaging

Complex Systems Modeling:

  • Precision Eye Tracking for Remote Pilots and Training Optimization

Edge Computing:

  • Low-Loss Magnetless Optical Isolators for Quantum Integrated Photonics Applications
